Arden Hills Festival

Boss Mom plays in the "Shoreview Northern Lights Band". Some people invited their band to play music at the Arden Hills Festival, so we got to go plus my Grandparents (which was huge festival.) There were bungee jumps, rock walls, and a whole bunch of games. When I went on the rock wall I was so close to the bell, I could not find a move, plus my grip was starting to get really loose. Finally I got up and reached for the bell I pressed it and my eardrums nearly fell out.

When

I did the cake walk I felt like they were nearly tricking me.They would draw a 2 EVERY time, and a kid would run off with a piece of candy. But of course when ever I was on 2 it would be a different number. After all the games we bought mini donuts, and listened to the band my Mom is in. After that there was a firework show, my favorite kind were the ones that looked like smiley faces.

Slice of Shoreview

Every year there is a party and a parade for the Slice of Shoreview. This year me and my sister got to be in the parade with the Girl Scouts.


Unfortunately, there was no parade because it was pouring rain, and right when they cancelled it the sun came out and the day was beautiful. Lucky for me, I got to keep the candy I was going to pass out.

Later I invited my friend to go to the party with me. We had an awesome time. We got free stuff, got to go in a super jump, and got to watch Dock Dogs (my other friend's dog was in the competition). There were games, and at some of the booths they gave away candy and pie.

After a little while we went to the fire station and got to spray fire hoses on a pretend fire and got to go in the fire trucks and a safety demonstration house.

After that we got a whole bag of kettle corn and watched the talent show, and saw a K9 show. After 3 hours of fun it was time to go home and relax.

Thoughts about Gym

I LOVE gym class! It is so fun to play doctor dodgeball, scooter races, hula hoop, play tag and other things. My gym teacher is really nice.

Video Games Can be Healthy

One day when we went to gym, our teacher said " It is star day." We got to play Dance Dance Revolution with the whole class all at once. At the end of class we were all sweatng really hard.

June 5th,an awesome day!

Everyone wanted to do different things today so we combined it all together. Jr.Princess wanted to go to a park,M&M Dad wanted to ride bikes,Pink Mom wanted to go geocaching, and I wanted to have a picnic. First we went biking Jr.Princess and Pink Mom rode six miles, M&M Dad and me rode ten miles, along the way we stopped a couple of times to find some geocaches. It also just so happened that a park was super close by so we played there ,and also had a picnic there.

EVERYONE GOT WHAT THEY WANTED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Cute details about biking:

#1. There was a man in a bike were he could lay back, and above him was a little carrier holding a cute, fluffy, small puppy.

#2. There was a man, and behind him was a little girl in something like a baby car seat.

A bad detail about biking:

#1. None!

Good details about geocaching:

#1.When you find them you get to feel proud!

#2.You can trade a little toy that you have for a different toy in the container.

Bad details about geocaching:

#1. Mosquito bites.

#2. Sometimes you have to bushwhack.

Dizzy details about the park:

#1. There is a pole and beneath it is something you can stand on. And if someone gives you one push you will spin around a whole bunch of times.

#2. There is a seat where you can sit on it and it will automatically make you spin.

Easter Day

My thoughts about Easter is that it is AWESOME!

On the night before Easter we were dyeing Easter eggs. We made all different colors some of them were rainbow (in the picture some of them were pretty basic but trust me the rest were colorful.) We even decorated them with glitter.



The next day the Easter bunny came ;). We each got over 50 jellybeans, chocolate eggs, Reese's pieces pastel eggs, Fluffy Stuff Cotton Tails ( which is cotton candy.) We each got clothes, mine were a peace sign shirt and sweatshirt. Jr.Princess got a cupcake shirt and a pair of pink pants. I also got a bead kit, and Jr.Princess got a prank kit.



This year the Easter bunny was crafty,he gave us clues, which would lead us to more clues then our Easter basket.One of mine was :

I knew that this was going to be all about Taylor Swift when I read the first line.That made made me think of things that I have of Taylor Swift and I have a CD of her,so I ran to my CD.

Once Jr.Princess found her basket in a fort, in our backyard she go a bunch of things plus a note for me. Which had my first clue with it which lead me to my basket in the van! A couple hours later our neighbor brought us big chocolate bunnies.

Nature Walk

Today we went on a nature walk at Sucker Lake. I wasn't psyched at first, but when I found a geo-cash I was pretty happy the rest of the time. I traded in a mini toy car for a polished rock. After that we hiked for a while and threw pebbles in a river.

Me and M&M Dad were far behind Pink Mom and Jr.Princess. We saw our state bird the Loon.

They were so beautiful with their red eyes and white spots on their back. In fact I saw one doing a crazy dance , and another went under and came back up with a fish in it's mouth. We also saw Egret, Heron, Robin, crow, Cardinal, duck, goose,Tree Swallow, Red Winged Blackbird, and we heard chickadees.

Since me and M&M Dad were so far behind Pink Mom and Jr.Princess they had found another geo-cash before we caught up with them. After that we played on the playground for a little bit.
